Highlight your Volunteers

With so many people volunteering their time to support organizations they love (like yours!) it’s important to show your gratitude through creative, engaging ways. 

A highlight story is one great way to accomplish this. 

Choose a volunteer to feature and have a one-on-one conversation with them, exploring questions like:

• Why did you choose to volunteer with us? 

• What’s important to you about our cause?

• What do you love about your volunteer position? 

Then, take their answers, craft a feature or highlight story, and share it on your social media, in your newsletter, and wherever else you can to amplify their efforts and impact. 

A highlight story not only shows your gratitude and appreciation for volunteers but also offers an opportunity to foster relationships and build community as your feature is shared among personal and professional circles.
